Access to scholarships for the first time

The scholarships will depend on the average mark of the academic record.

In the case of new students, it will be calculated as the arithmetic average of 3rd and 4th year of Scondary School and 1st year of High School, or equivalent in the case of students coming from a different pathway to the LOGSE/LOMCE High School.

For students already enrolled in previous years, the average of their record in this centre since their entry will be applied and it will be necessary not to have any credits pending from previous years.

Renewal of scholarships from previous years

The average of the student’s marks record since admission to the centre will be applied. The applicant may not have pending subjects that exceed 15% of the credits taken in the previous year. Furthermore, these credits will not be eligible for aid.

OBSERVATIONS:

  • These grants cannot be combined with other discounts applied by CÁMARABILBAO.
  • The granting of these scholarships will depend on the student also applying within the established deadlines for the official grants offered by the Basque Government and/or the Ministry of Education.
  • The applicant have to declare all grants received by any public or private institution for the same academic year. In case of receiving any of these, the CÁMARABILBAO grant will be reduced to the value that means that the sum of all of them does not exceed double the grant established by the Chamber of Commerce.
  • In the determination of the grant, all kinds of circumstances presented by the student will also be taken into account, as long as they are duly justified. For example: degree of disability, orphanage, large family or single parent, etc.
  • The endowment of grants will be the responsibility of the school’s management and will be unappealable.

Documents to be submitted

In order to apply for the scholarships, the following documents must be provided:

  • Scholarship application form duly completed.
  • For new students the grades of 3rd and 4th Secondary School and 1st High School, or equivalent in the case of coming from a different pathway to the LOGSE/LOMCE High School.
  • Certificate of census registration, detailing the members residing at the address.
  • Income tax return for the last financial year for the whole family unit as well as certification of all other income (unemployment benefits, pensions, subsidies, etc.).
  • Proof of assets.
  • In the case of separation or divorce, the updated amount of the pension received must be accredited or it must be documented that it has not been received.
  • Any type of circumstance affecting the student or his/her family unit must be accredited: degree of disability, orphanhood, large or single-parent family, etc.

Basque Government Scholarships

Applications must be completed using the online application form that appears on the Basque Government / Grants, Aid and Subsidies page. Once completed, the form generated must be submitted, signed by all the eligible members of the household/family unit and accompanied by all the required documentation, to the Secretary’s Office of the University School within the deadline established in the call for applications.

Ministry of Education and professional training Scholarships

Scholarship applications must be completed using the application form that appears on the “Trámites y Servicios” website.

Once completed, they must print the application form in pdf file and submit it, duly signed by the applicant and other eligible members, together with the necessary documentation to the Secretary’s Office of the University School within the deadline established in the call for applications.
