Cámarabilbao Grants
REQUIREMENTS
Cámarabilbao offers scholarships to students at its university centre.
These grants are awarded on the basis of three criteria:
- Average academic record.
- New students:
- It will be calculated as the arithmetic average of 3rd and 4th year of ESO and 1st year of Bachillerato, or equivalent in the case of coming from a different pathway to the LOGSE/LOMCE Baccalaureate.
- Students from previous years:
- It will be calculated as the average of your record at this institution since your admission.
- New students:
- The income and wealth situation of the household unit.
- Number of household members.
The amount of the grant is based on these three criteria.
DEADLINES
DOCUMENTATION TO BE SUBMITTED
In order to apply for the scholarships, the following documents must be provided:
- Scholarship application form duly completed.
- For newly admitted students, the marks of 3rd ESO, 4th ESO and 1st Bachillerato, or equivalent in the case of coming from a route other than the LOGSE/LOMCE Baccalaureate.
- Certificate of census registration detailing the members residing at the address.
- Personal income tax return for the last financial year for the whole family unit as well as certification of all other income (unemployment benefits, pensions, subsidies, etc.).
- Accreditation of the asset situation.
- In the case of separation or divorce, the updated amount of the pension received or proof of non-receipt must be provided.
- Any type of circumstance affecting the student or his/her family unit must be accredited: degree of disability, orphanage, large or single-parent family, etc.
The Bilbao Chamber of Commerce reserves the right to request any documentation it deems appropriate.
REMARKS
- These grants cannot be combined with other discounts applied by CAMARABILBAO.
- The granting of this aid is conditional on the student also applying, within the established deadlines, for the official grants awarded by the Basque Government and/or the Ministry of Education.
- The applicant is obliged to declare all grants received by any public or private institution for the same academic year. In the event of receiving any of these, the CÁMARABILBAO grant will be reduced to the value that means that the sum of all of them does not exceed double the grant established by the Chamber.
- In the granting and determination of the aid, all kinds of circumstances presented by the student will also be taken into account, as long as they are duly justified. For example: degree of disability, orphanage, large family, single parent, etc.
- In the case of students from previous years (not new entrants), the applicant may not have pending subjects that exceed 15% of the credits taken in the previous year. Furthermore, these credits will not be eligible for aid.
- The awarding and endowment of the scholarships shall be the responsibility of the Management of the centre and shall be unappealable.
Basque Government Grants
Applications must be completed using the online application form that appears on the Basque Government / Grants, Aid and Subsidies page. Once completed, the form generated must be submitted, signed by all the eligible members of the household/family unit and accompanied by all the required documentation, to the Secretary’s Office of the University School within the deadline established in the call for applications.
Ministry of Education and Vocational Training Grants
Grant applications must be completed using the application form that appears on the web page “Trámites y Servicios”.
Once completed, they must print the application form in pdf file and submit it, duly signed by the applicant and other eligible members, together with the necessary documentation to the Secretary’s Office of the University School by the deadline established in the call for applications.
Funding
Cámarabilbao University Business School has preferential financing agreements with Banco Sabadell and Kutxabank.
